LASTMA Official Slumped on Traffic Duty in Lagos, Dies

Shocking news reaching has it that an official of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, LASTMA, who slumped while controlling traffic on Ishaga Road in Idi-Araba, Mushin area on Saturday, has died.

The official, Kazeem Lawal, was rushed to Randle Hospital, Surulere, by his colleagues but the doctor on call pronounced him dead on arrival. He was among LASTMA officials on duty for an event at the Chapel of the Healing Cross, but collapsed at about 1.30pm.

EFCC: "Two Key Witnesses in Ex-Governor Nyako Suit Have Died Mysteriously"

Abuja -
EFCC disclosed that 2 of its crucial witnesses in the N29billion fraud case against former Adamawa state governor Murtala Nyako, his son Abdulazis and other associates, have died mysteriously.

 The anti-graft agency told a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Friday July 10th that the mysteriously deaths of the 2 men have put fear in other witnesses who are now refusing to cooperate with them for fear of the unknown. EFCC begged the court to remand Nyako and his co-accused as it would be dangerous to allow them go on bail & also so witnesses could come forward & testify against them.
